WARRANT FOR SPECIAL TOWN MEETING

TO: Retta Stetler, Resident in the Town of Eagle Lake, in the County of Aroostook and State of
Maine.

GREETINGS:
You are hereby notified that a Special Town Meeting in the Town of Eagle Lake will be
held at the Eagle Lake Senior Citizen Building at 4 Albert Street, in said Town on September 30,
2026, at 6:00 p.m. for the purpose of acting on the following articles, to wit:

Article l: TO choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.

Article II: To set a new time for charging interest on unpaid 2026 taxes as ofa certain date. Due
to taxes that were unable to be committed at a set date in the beginning of September 2026.
Selectperson Recommend:
30-day aner-tax bills are sent out and 7% per annum after those 30 days have expired.

Article III: To vote on setting policy that "No person shall be elected or appointed to the Board
Of Selectmen for more than (TWO) consecutive filll terms. A person who has served the
maximum number Of consecutive full terms permitted shall not be eligible for election or
appointment to the Board of Selectman until at least (TWO) year has elapsed since the
expiration of their last term."

the within Special Town Meeting by posting attested copies of the within Warrant at the Eagle
Lake Post Office, the Norstate Federal Credit Union and Katahdin Trust, all on Aroostook Road;
Municipal Building on Devoe Brook Road; the same being conspicuous, public places within said Town Of Eagle Lake on
September 30, 2026, which is at least seven (14) days prior to said special town meeting on
September 30, 2026.
